Dr. John Ltalipen Lekuton - Director

Dr. John Ltalipen Lekuton was born in 1977, in Karare, Marsabit County. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in International Economics & Development; M.A in Economics- (Monetary and Fiscal Policy) and Bachelor of Economics - (Summa Cum laude) from Howard University, Washington D.C. He is experienced economist with good grasp of economic and Financial matters. Dr. Lekuton loves sports and mostly is involved in mentoring youths in Karare, Marsabit county through soccer and other areas that enlightens them. He is also exposed and conversant with how policies are formulated and implemented by the parliament of Kenya. His areas of interest are in regional integration, economic security, community and Youth development, Micro and small enterprises and HIV/AIDS prevention. He is a Member of Diplomacy Scholars Association of Kenya (DIPSAK). Currently Dr. Lekuton is a lecturer at the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies, University of Nairobi.
